I wonder what those guys rifling through the papers expected. Maybe they thought there’d be something really obvious, maybe a sheet marked ELECTION CHEATING METHODS or SECRET PAEDOPHILE BROTHEL LOCATIONS in giant red ink.
C’mon Holms, we all know how easy it is to find incriminating paperwork in the movies! Why would this be different?

The possibilities are theoretically endless:
RORTED BALLOT PAPERS FOR DESTRUCTION ASAP is one that comes to mind. Also a box file labelled SECRET AND HIGHLY INCRIMINATING THINGS THAT TRUMP AND HIS TRUE SUPPORTERS MUST NEVER BE ALLOWED TO FIND. DO NOT OPEN…! EVER..! That would be right smack-bang on the money.
And why Ted Cruz? If it’s papers in the Senate, Ted Cruz almost certainly already has access.
