Race IS inherited to a great extent. Are we at the point where you are denying that two white parents will have white children? I mean please. Have you read any Darwin?

The squishy concept of race has led to several instances of black children being born to white parents. For instance, the story of Sandra Laing in South Africa under apartheid, who had dark skin and was classified Colored, despite having at least three generations of immediate ancestors who were classified White. There was an instance (I think in the US) of twin girls where one was light skinned and one was dark skinned. Certainly there were plenty of light skinned children of black parents who could “pass” for white, and that’s part of the reason the “One Drop Rule” was created.
When I first understood that the “One Drop Rule” was a real thing, I was horrified. I have since been struck by the preening arrogance of mongrel humans declaring anyone with more recent pure human ancestry than them to be lesser. And the hypocrisy; considering that ‘Neanderthal’ is used as an insult, when it is our part homo Neanderthalensis ancestry which marks all us Europeans out as different to the pure homo sapiens Africans in the first place.
He’s saying that a person’s IQ has a non-zero racial element, and given that black / latino / indigenous average IQs lag behind those of white people, ergo there is a non-zero racial component to their lower IQ. Which is heavily contradicted by reasearch on the topic, showing that IQ is best predicted by family financial stability rather than race per se, it just appears to be predicted by race thanks to all other population groups lagging behind white people in average wealth.
Sullivan is a lying shit. The claim is that he believes that black people are inherently less intelligent, not that race itself is inherited.

That entire NYMag article is a long strawman argument, full of (deliberate?) mis-interpretations of the argument. The arrogance is breathtaking.

That seems a rather tame statement. It hardly entails that “black people evolved to be less intelligent [than people of other races]”.
