This is amusing/horrifying a lot of people right now.
(I told her that’s a contradiction, but…)
On second thought, I’ll update to include the preceding exchange.

Apparently genders and pronouns are seasonal, just to keep us on our toes. At least they have time to be wacky between all the malice. LP wants to make sure we keep our eye on the ball.
Both binary and non-binary; not alternately or concurrently, but both… or neither… (wtf/ever)
Can’t she just say she’s a butch dyke?
Or is that inappropriate?
Oh, wait…maybe she’s heterosexual. A bisexual one.
Schrodinger’s gender: binary and nonbinary at the same time.
maddog,
I would suggest Humpty Dumpty Genderism: one’s gender is whatever one chooses it to mean.
Regarding “that previous exchange”:
I don’t have a lot of time at the moment to track down an exact instance, but LP has definitely claimed to “not be a woman” in the past. I specifically remember her being mocked for having “she/her” pronouns on her twitter bio at one time after making the claim, and there’s also this bit out of a Sarah Ditum book review:
Although I didn’t see Ditum quoting the source, I cannot imagine that someone as careful as her would make that claim without having proof of it.
That quote is from a post right here at B&W, btw:

I mean how can you play gender roulette on twitter and NOT expect to get attention? Kind of a sour mixture of amusing and pathetic, with a dash of malice.
Mad dog: So “gender” is now a QUANTUM thing. The precious subatomic gender state collapses, in this case, to “woman” or “not woman” whenever it is measured?
