Any consequences?

This should be interesting.

I’ll listen later. The first thought that occurs to me is that the consequences aren’t all that unintended. Some of the intention may not be fully conscious – we’re good at lying to ourselves about why we’re being shits – but some of it has to be, especially now, when the consequences have been so thoroughly and emphatically explained.

Because men are the real people while women are the afterthought.

    Full Frontal with Samantha Bee

But God Didn’t Say That: Female Religious Leaders Talk God and Abortion

Sam sits down with religious leaders (Jaime Manson, Rafa Kidvai, Rabbi Danya Ruttenberg) to learn how their counterparts on The Right have successfully melted American minds to make us believe that God outlawed abortion. He didn’t. He’s actually pretty chill.

The one in the middle (green/flowered dress) consistently referred to “pregnant people”. No one called her on it.

The ‘Adam’s rib’ perspective. Retrogressive fanaticism.

This article sometimes uses ‘pregnant woman’ & sometimes phrases like ‘pregnant people’ or ‘pregnant individuals’. I now can’t unsee such crap.

Steven, she also stated that the issue is more than just a woman’s issue, and legislation and outreach needs to include trans people. She’s looney tunes.

Steven, no one called her on it because Samantha is quick to condemn “terfs” on her show. It’s very frustrating, because Samantha and her staff have brought many important issues to light on her show that I had not been previously aware of. This is her one blind spot.

Yes, it’s ruined Full Frontal for me.
