Can they be invisible?
I’m seeing a lot of conversations about emotional support dogs and contingencies related to them and who gets to decide und so weiter so I decided to seek basic information via Google. Questions questions.
What does an emotional support pet do?
How do I train my emotional support dog for anxiety?
Can I make my cat an emotional support animal?
Can emotional support dogs fly?
Imagine how supportive it would be if your dog could fly!
But what do you do if your emotional support dog has anxiety?
It’s emotional support dogs all the way down.
My Pyr mix could clear a 4 foot fence. Brief moments of flight for sure, and if the fence was solid he became temporarily invisible. All dogs have superpowers. :)
Friend of mine rents a house. The owners stipulated “no pets.”
When friend decided to adopt a dog, she told me that if the owners objected she would to tell them the dog was an Emotional Support Dog, and if necessary seek to have it declared such by whatever authority declares such things. Friend had looked into it and said it wouldn’t be difficult.
My friend does have a diagnosis of depression. The dog has no special training, and so far as I know doesn’t need any. In any case the owners accepted the dog without ado, and friend now fosters shelter dogs.
Where my cat and I live, pets aren’t allowed, but ‘support animals’ are. A note from my doctor and lo! Josey has a job title.
