The Guardian tweet says “Latin American feminists vow to protect abortion rights” and “Women’s movements have fought hard.” Guardian US reporter’s retweet says “Latin American reproductive rights activists.” Correct correct correct, erase erase erase.
Notice all the purple and green for suffragette colours? I thought that was all ‘white feminism”? Seems a whole bunch of woman of colour didn’t get that memo and have the same views as other women. Maybe, just maybe, the issues common to women frequently transcend issues of race, nationality, sexual attraction, nationality…
