I didn’t get to the tribunal yesterday so I need to catch up. Here’s one segment from today which explains how and why the whole issue of what “trans woman” means is relevant to the think tank Maya was working for:

“ever” there has to be a typo for “aver.” (No aspersions here – I’m awestruck by how much the collective manages to capture for us.)

BC: Here we see Ms Shulman, again common CGD practice, saying not suitable for us as is, this could be done to make it so, or, we can help place it elsewhere

This clarifies a lot, at least for me. All this time I had thought the subject was extracurricular, but it wasn’t – which of course makes perfect sense when I think about it. Does global development include women and girls? Why, erm, yes, it does…duh.

Now to try to get back to the beginning of yesterday so as not to be out of sequence.

I think ‘ you couldn’t ever this debate has *no* relevance to international sector’ reads better as

‘you couldn’t ever *argue* this debate has *no* relevance to international sector’.

Or some similar word. State, say or whatever. But that is just my interpretation of it. Trying to do a live transcript is a daunting task, talking as someone who made a hash of learning shorthand 20 years ago. The people who used to do live transcripts for TV news used a really weird keyboard if I recall, but I would imagine it is done entirely by computers now.
