More patriotic

How ugly.

Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley thinks that America should deport Senator Raphael Warnock. It’s not clear where exactly she wants to deport him to, given that he was born in Savannah, Georgia.

Haley called for the deportation of Georgia’s first Black senator at a rally in Hiram, Georgia on Sunday, as she stumped for Warnock’s Republican challenger, Herschel Walker.

“Legal immigrants are more patriotic than the leftists these days,” she said. “They worked to come into America and they love America. They want the laws followed in America. So the only person we need to make sure we deport is Warnock.”

Hur hur. A “joke,” no doubt, in the style of the former guy, who lashes out at people in that random meaningless way whenever the mood strikes him. Not a funny joke though, given the citizenship issue and its relationship to slavery. (See the Dred Scott case.)

I mean this in all sincerity – I hope you are enjoying your last free and fair elections because if the GOP gets control of the House and Senate you will never again have a free and fair election. Unless it’s for a local dogcatcher, and I doubt even that will survive the GOP.

This has been a project 60 years in the making.

Your politics are insane, your electoral system too easily corrupted, and your population to engrossed with Tittytainment (Zbigniew Brezinski)

Remember when people (briefly) claimed Nikki Haley was one of the professional, reasonable adults in the room with Trump? Yeah, well, everything he comes near rots.

“They worked to come into America and they love America….”

Of course, the same can be said for many illegal immigrants too.

Restricting the vote to those who hold an approved viewpoint goes hand in hand with restricting citizenship to the same people. Only Real Americans of this sort get to decide who’s really an American.

Not just you. One of our 2 major parties has members travelling to uStates to “learn” from the GOP. They are fighting the same “culture wars” as the GOP. And they are aided and abetted by the biggest threat to Democracy since the rise of The Aetolian League; Rupert Fucking Murdoch.

To the degree that any American election could ever be considered “free and fair”, I think it’s fair to say that Gerrymandering and Voter suppression bills put an end to that some time ago. Ironically Republicans are right to say that elections are rigged. If they hadn’t been rigged, Trump would never have won in 2016, and he would have lost by a far greater margin in 2020. So, when the Republicans complain about elections being “rigged” what they really mean is “not sufficiently rigged in our favor to make the popular vote irrelevant”. They have already proven themselves willing to do whatever it takes to change that. If they win today (which seems inevitable), they will also be able.

Gerrymandering has had enormous influence on the party composition of state legislatures, which is where the real action is. The Republicans have not been solely focused on the presidency. Legislatures and courts. It’s the end process of a decades long game.
