Trans inmates revert to males when they leave Scottish prisons
I’m stunned. It never ever occurred to me for a second that they would do that. I thought they were totally sincere.
A study, published in the British Journal of Criminology, also revealed that some of these prisoners may only have identified as women in order to have sex with female inmates.

No I’m not. This is what women have been saying all along.

Sure. It’s only women who are affected, so who cares.

On the other hand: “The only legitimate way to determine a person’s gender is self-reporting. Nobody would ever claim to be trans unless they are. Anybody who says they’re a woman is a woman. The idea that men would pretend to be trans to get into women’s spaces is an evil transphobic lie etc. etc.”
Incarceration triggers some people’s dysphoria, apparently. Can’t think what.

I don’t think they can permit themselves even that much thought. The ‘No true Scotsman’ argument has to include the notion that there ARE false Scotsmen. The TRAs can’t permit that thought.
I’m reminded of all the Catholic apologists who declare that the Church cannot have a problem with child abuse, since all priests ‘identify’ as celibate.
