So, let me get this straight. J. K. Rowling expresses her opinion on Twitter, so it’s just the “takes of a celebrity”. She must be scolded by Billy Bragg who is, I guess, not a celebrity? If he’s not, how come I’ve heard of him? How come my husband’s heard of him?
What he really means is she’s the WRONG celebrity. Look at Ellen Page (sorry, can’t remember her new name), Eddie Izzard, Caitlyn Jenner…no celebrities in that group? Not one?
Meanwhile, he gets to play man telling woman what to do without any backlash from the new “feminists”.
None of the three has a beard, so perhaps that explains it.
iknklast, yes, and this really is a continuation of their entire censorious point: talk to believers, let them dictate to you; don’t talk to unbelievers. Dissent from the new faith must be frozen out.

Say what? He referred to a Black woman as “uppity”? Good gosh, really? Wouldn’t he be up in arms if anyone, especially an American, referred to any Black person as “uppity” over any other issue? Does he not realize how awful that looks?

No, he didn’t, I’ve just looked. He shared a video by a smug UK guy who pronounces “Rowling” wrong. The video is about the various places GC feminism overlaps with conservatives and far-right theocrats. There’s nothing new in it, and PZ didn’t say anything, he just linked to the video.
