Uh oh – Just Stop Oil v Pride. Is it wrong of me to hope to see them claw each other into tiny pieces?
Just Stop Oil has threatened to disrupt this weekend’s London Pride event over its headline sponsor United Airlines.
Ahead of the event on Saturday, Just Stop Oil issued a list of demands for the organisers to consider in order to stop any protest disrupting the event.
Blah blah blah but who has signed the oath swearing that men are women if they say they are, and who hasn’t? Focus, people.
I just hope that Just Stop Oil vs Pride lasts longer than Prigozhin vs Putin. I got all excited for that one, and then it fizzled. Terrible disappointment.
Reminds me when students hijacked Toronto Pride under the banner of BLM. Factions of the left attacking each other, perhaps because they’re the easiest targets they can hurt.

Back in 1991, there was an attempted coup in Russia, but it was quashed quickly. There is a tendency in certain corners of journalism for people to rush to get books out about current events almost while the events are still going on, and sometimes they misjudge situations badly. NPR had an amusing segment interviewing a fictitious author about a fictitious book, “Russia After the Coup”, which was premised on the coup succeeding but published overly hastily.
I can easily imagine a similar book about Russia After the Wagner Coup.

Take the premise of the coup succeeding and turn it into a alternate history novel.
Sounds like the stopoil clowns are seeing how the trans clowns are getting mountains of money and want in on the grift.
Points 2 and 3 may as well be combined and rewritten to something simpler: “Pride must grovel at our feet and admit we are the more pure and correct organisation. Also, 1 should read which floats, not what.
