One thing I’ve noticed is that the women standing up for women’s rights tend to be mature, not adolescents. It’s almost as if living their lives has given them wisdom.
I have hope younger generations can avoid the stultification of gender ideology and medical mutilation long enough to develop wisdom of their own.
@Papito, Fielding is no spring chicken, as one of her critics told her. Indeed I”d put her in the “old enough to know better” category. She is just possibly the most sanctimonious person I’ve encountered on Twitter.
It’s worth noting, because it’s been widely overlooked, that Fielding has been criticised for supporting a male militia leader convicted of masterminding the bombing of a mosque in Minnesota. In addition to a 53-year sentence for that, “Emily Claire Hari” has been sentenced to 14 years for an arson attack on the Women’s Health Practice, an abortion clinic in Illinois. Fielding’s support is presumably an example of the openmindedness on which she so unwarrantedly prides herself; it is certainly also an example of how people claiming to be trans can be forgiven almost any crime – men who bomb mosques and set fire to abortion clinics rarely enjoy favour in progressive circles. (And nor should they.)

Really Fielding’s insistence that she (Fielding, that is) is open-minded and good-hearted seems of a piece with that of a trans woman with male pattern baldness, visible stubble and a prominent Adam’s apple that s/he is beguilingly feminine.
