  Had those death threats regarding mass murder been made by someone who was upset that TW were allowed in the WI there is no way such vague, uninformative “breached our supporters T’s & Cs” language woul have been used. Instead there would have been very specific charges and I don’t know how much attention & support given to TW. Maybe a preemptive candlelight vigil.

  So in WI terms, Varma joined, but not as a Member (at £46/year), but as a Supporter Plus (at £18/year). I poked around on The Wayback Machine, and I found that WI Supporter options “went live” this month, about April 4. So at least the WI has been consistent about joining as a Member versus a Supporter.
