Don’t spoil his fun

Women-hating men who just can’t believe their luck that they get to throw bricks at women and collect virtue stamps for doing so.

Do we get a free pass to say whatever we want when discussing our rights…gee, that’s a tough one. I don’t know. Probably to be on the safe side we should get Billy Bragg’s permission before we say anything.

Billy Bragg is just having fun though. Wot larks Pip!

“she also accepts support from US anti-abortionists.”

Does anyone know if that is actually the case?

It’s quite possible, as she accepts help where she gets it since fighting trans orthodoxy is her mission and many anti-abortion groups also have an interest in fighting trans orthodoxy. It doesn’t mean that she agrees with them on other issues.

But, she has disparaged those who disagree with her association with right side groups as being socialist feminists. She is not an easy woman to pigeonhole.

She’s “calling for the sterilization of trans people”? How? By giving them puberty blockers? Hormones? Or “bottom surgery”?

If BB thinks those things shouldn’t be done, I’m with him.

Ah, she is touring Australia and NZ. I see dates of 11/03 for Sydney and 14/03 for Perth listed in her twitter, another source (I forget where) gave 16/03 for Adelaide. Interesting.

Would you oppose an anti-abortionist woman if she came to your town to argue that women should have fewer rights?

Would I oppose her ideas? Yes. Would I stage or take part in a a noisy demonstration intended to try and prevent her speaking or being heard? No.

She’s “calling for the sterilization of trans people”?

To be fair, PP did once tweet something like “trans men should be sterilized.” I believe it was in response to some article about the miracle of a “man” giving birth, and the idea was that, if you really think you are/want to be a man, you shouldn’t be able to do this thing that only women can do.

It was a stupid thing to say, but I doubt she was calling for governments to sterilize anyone.

    Lady Mondegreen,

Thanks. I figured it was something like that, and yes, it was stupid. But I love the irony of TRAs complaining about someone wanting to sterilize trans people.
