An exchange towards the end tells a story:
Woman: “These people could not be more proud to support rape culture right now.”
Man: “You couldn’t even be a fucking victim! You couldn’t even be a fucking victim!”
The woman could not be raped, she is too ugly or bitchy or ____ to be the object of male attention, even the unwanted kind. This is the flip side of men telling women the unwanted attention is a compliment. He admits to being pro rape culture more tellingly than simply saying he supports it. He takes the side of the rapist.
Shorter: the story is misogyny.
Is it just me or are the stereotypical bros becoming more prominent at these attempted shout downs?
Francis; they were bound to catch on sooner or later. They see the TRAs enjoying officially-sanctioned abuse of women and see the ideal release for their own misogyny.
Meet up in the bar, have a few beers, toddle off to the demo, mingle with the strange guys and yell abuse at women for an hour, back to the bar for more beers. Dude-bro heaven.
