Martina is not impressed.
This is pretty pathetic- never heard of this man, looked him up here and found myself blocked. Once again, good to know that men apparently know what women like myself and Sharron know about biology and sports etc. Just amazing to be this confident, no? https://t.co/PeYjqHFa2W
I'd say it's unbelievable for a man in his position to say these things at all, let alone block you, and yet, given the shameful state of the BBC's reporting on the women's rights/gender issue, it's utterly predictable.
Lest we forget, it was reported a few years ago that the BBC had a very large percentage of trans-identified people working for them.
I refreshed my memory. Per the Daily Mail, in 2018 they had more than 400 trans staff:
The figure represents more than one in 50 of the workforce – about four times higher than the proportion in the population at large.
And it stunned the BBC executive behind the research, who described the total number of trans employees, at 417, as ‘very, very high’.
Tunde Ogungbesan, the BBC’s director of diversity, has now launched a major reform to make the Corporation more ‘trans-friendly’ following the findings

(How much more “trans-friendly” can you be?)
(I may originally have learned about this here!)

Good grief. I didn’t know that, or if I did I’d forgotten it.
Well thank goodness for Ophelia, Martina, and Joanne.*
*(If I may be so forward. I see their names on the front lines so often.)
No, sorry, I insist on Colonel Benson.
