Tim, the genuinely frightening thing is that it wasn’t just the Guardian (the usual suspects) but pretty much all of the UK’s major papers.

The escorting officer on the left side of the photo looks odd to me. Is that supposed to be a woman officer, with the tab tie? It looks like the officer’s hair is tied back, and trailing on the collar. The ears and the face don’t read “woman” to me. The bearded male officer with the standard men’s necktie, on he right, is wearing his rainbow insignia on his tie. Is this the woke brigade of jail officers?

maddog, that one on the left looks sort of like Aunt Lydia from Handmaid’s Tale…but Aunt Lydia is unmistakably female, while this officer is ambiguous.

Is this really what you want to concentrate on? Are we back to judging women, yet again, by their looks?
If there is a valid point about the person on the left being an imposter, then make it. Else, STFU and stop judging women on their appearance.

As for the matter of “judging women by their looks” – that’s part of the problem with trans ideology: we’re driven to this kind of questioning and wondering. maddog wasn’t “judging women by their looks” but trying to figure out if even the people guarding the perp are gender special.
