Conversion therapy is a terrible problem in the UK. That’s why they closed the Tavistock – they kept trying to convert gay kids into straight kids by messing with their bodies so they’d look like the opposite sex.
That is just, well, stunning. Smug man who seems in favor of anything that makes men’s sexual desires the most important thing on earth (certainly more important than the safety of women and kids) is smugly calling out a woman for the crime of…not giving him attention IMMEDIATELY when he demands it? He is a gadfly for pushing men’s rights to abuse women and kids and I am sure he can make his own schedule. Badenoch has a job with a lot of responsibilities. But sure, Tatchell feels that she should be at his beck and call. What a toothache of a man this guy is.

I replied to his tweet by quoting Papito’s comment (along with a link to this blog.)
He doesn’t know that she didn’t respond though. “Who the fuck is Peter Satchel?” she may have muttered, as she deleted the email.
I’ve just noticed that the last line of his tweet is ‘What’she afraid of?’ It might be an innocent typo but I find it difficult to give snide shits such as Tatchell the benefit of the doubt. Given his history as a spiteful little man, and knowing the standard tactic of trans-allied activists of mocking women who don’t instantly fall into line with them, I have no problem believing that he intended that line to be read as ‘What’s he afraid of?’ because hur hur she looks quite masculine.
The alternative ‘What she afraid of?’ has somewhat racist overtones, and while I’m not aware of any history he may have in that direction, you know what they say about scratching the surface.
But, yes, it might be just a typo…
