This is confusing. Pray tell us which binary you claim to be going beyond? It can’t be the sex binary, because only females can give birth, and there is no third sex to which you can go “beyond.” It can’t be the “gender” binary, because “gender identity” is irrelevant to pregnancy and birth, since “gender identities” can’t get pregnant (also, see above regarding females).
I was once in a mixed-sex discussion about childbirth, which included a middle-aged mother of two, who told all the others: “The only way I can describe it to someone who has never been through it is this… It’s like pushing out the most enormous poo.!”
This information I freely offer to the webinar in the cause of hopefully giving its members ‘the confidence to influence competency and inclusivity for LGBTQ+ service users.’
Omar, a farmers wife once told me it was ‘like shitting a rugby ball’. For Americans that’s a diameter of around 7.5″ which I’m pretty sure would bring tears to the eyes. More to the point, the whole premise of that seminar is nonsense.
A local group I follow, captured by the genderists, recently posted a set of photographs of (mostly topless) pregnant women-who-claim-to-be-men, with the title “Normalize male pregnancy”. Um, no, I won’t. That isn’t male pregnancy, and I won’t normalize the claim that it is.
