Former Labour MP Lloyd Russell-Moyle has defected to the Greens, marking a “profound” shift in British politics as Zack Polanski’s party looks to replace Labour at the ballot box. Russell-Moyle was suspended from the Labour party in May 2024 after a complaint about his behaviour that he described as “vexatious and politically motivated.” “Lloyd and tens of thousands like him have not left the Labour party; the Labour party has left them,” Polanski said.
The Green party has surged in popularity and its membership has exploded to over 150,000 since Polanski became leader in September, pledging to supplant Labour as the go-to party for progressives.
Wellll not progressives so much as…what’s the word? Women-hating loonies? More than one word, but you can always use hyphens.
But Russell-Moyle’s misogyny wasn’t at all politically motivated vexatiousness. It was just him being him.That speaks volumes about him, as does the Greens’ welcoming him.
Yeah, but the Labour Party left millions of women first. Of course, women were supposed to shut up and accept their abandonment and betrayal by Labour in obedient silence, whereas Russell-Moyle gets to consider it a personal insult, and an opportunity to say “You’ll regret having done this to me!” Lad Lloyd’s pissed off because Labour has made some very tentative, slow-motion, teeny tiny little half-hearted steps back in a slightly womanward direction, and that is not allowed. He wants to be able to keep hating women, loudly and proudly. He thinks he’s the good guy in this. He would be a perfect fit for Bristol City Council.

Ah, I remember Mr. Lloyd Russell-Moyle.
He had to apologise to J. K. Rowling. The apology was made after Russell-Moyle claiming in an article in “Tribune” magazine that J. K. Rowling had used “her history of sexual abuse as a justification for discriminating against transgender people”.

If I were running a political party, I wouldn’t want such a person in it- he’d be an obvious liability.
But once a man advocates the trans issue, he gets a “A Get Out of Feminism Card” and can then behave as badly to women as he wants. Look at Russell-Moyle, Owen Jones, Richard Seymour, Benjamin O’Keefe, etc.
