Amnesty International pisses all over women every chance it gets. Amnesty International drives a tank through women’s rights because it finds fictitious “trans rights” more glamorous and exciting. Amnesty International wants to be down with the kids. Never was a Readers added context more richly deserved.
It’s like seeing Wolf International put out a statement touting its commitment to sheep rights. Of course we already know what the justification would be: “Trans sheep are sheep! Being a sheep has nothing to do with crude physical traits like having two weight-carrying toes on your feet, chewing cud, or producing wool. Anyone who identifies as a sheep is a sheep. That’s not a “wolf in sheep’s clothing”, that’s a sheep that just happens to have fangs (and eat cud-chewing, wool-producing artiodactyls). We need to protect the rights and interests of all sheep, both the cis sheep and the trans sheep.”
“Wolf International” – that’s their new name.
