No dude. You’re thinking of lèse-majesté. We don’t have that. It wouldn’t work for you even if we did have it, because you’re not majesté. We don’t have majesté here – did you not know that? We firmly explicitly rejected it centuries ago. Has no one told you? Have you never read a word about US history? Do you know what day it is? But even if we did have it, it still wouldn’t apply to you, because you’re not. You’re not majesté-having. You’re the opposite. You’re vulgar, you’re coarse, you’re clumsy, you’re slow, you’re thick, you’re crude. Even foul Andrew has more of it than you do.
Seth Meyers of NBC may be the least talented person to “perform” live in the history of television. In fact, he may be the WORST to perform, live or otherwise. I watched his show the other night for the first time in years. In it he talked endlessly about electric catapults on aircraft carriers which I complain about as not being as good as much less expensive steam catapults. On and on he went, a truly deranged lunatic. Why does NBC waste its time and money on a guy like this??? – NO TALENT, NO RATINGS, 100% ANTI TRUMP, WHICH IS PROBABLY ILLEGAL!!!
If making fun of Trump is illegal, then my cartoons are a criminal enterprise. Hmmm, wonder if I could get his attention and then leverage the Streisand effect… One way to increase traffic, I suppose…
His rants against his many detractors lack the sophistication of a 2nd grader’s retort. Thin skinned asshat.

WaM @ #6: ….Trump is an idiotic, small-minded (and -handed), narcissistic, racist, misogynistic, addle-brained, tacky, petty dunderhead….”
Those are his better points. Now, what about his worst?
For my part, I would say that there has not been anyone like him since the mad Roman emperor Caligula, who by legend planned to appoint his horse Incitatus as a consul. But then, that leaves the question as to which of them would have the most majeste to lese: Trump, Caligula or the horse?
I’m pretty sure I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again anyway – one thing about Trump is it’s very difficult to think of a single item for the other column. Any talent or redeeming quality or likable aspect. He’s not evil but charming or funny or talented or aesthetically pleasing or…anything. That’s really unusual.

I’ve no idea what Rudyard Kipling would have thought of Trump, but this poem of his seems appropriate:
@Mostly Cloudy
Since we’re quoting Kipling, these lines always come to mind in that nanosecond before I switch off the device broadcasting that hideous Trump voice:-
“For frantic boast and foolish word—
Thy Mercy on Thy People, Lord!”
@Mostly Cloudy
I looked up that poem and much of it is apt:-
He shall break his judges if they cross his word;
He shall rule above the Law calling on the Lord.
….
Strangers of his counsel, hirelings of his pay,
These shall deal our Justice: sell—deny—delay.
So we can’t say that Trump is an idiotic, small-minded (and -handed), narcissistic, racist, misogynistic, addle-brained, tacky, petty dunderhead?
OK, then, I won’t say it.

My money would be on the horse. Naturally.
