Sorrows come not single spies but in battalions

Breaking news in Sussex rebuke drama – our good friend latsot has turned up one of those sinister Connections that can explain so much.

Oh of course she was. The only thing as of course would be Hines being Roseneil’s PhD supervisor. The professors of transology train each other to preach the gospel of transology wherever gullible students are found, and they link arms to bully Enemy Women out of academia altogether.

    A clear citation ring if ever I saw one. Believers in wharrgarrbl churning it out at a rate of knots, all citing each other to network and inflate prominence.

    Your Name’s not Bruce?

    This petulant, silly response from VC Sasha Roseneil suggests that paying out more than half a million quid still isn’t enough to teach

    @SussexUni its lesson:

    Well it’s not her money, is it? If it’s not coming out of her pocket, she won’t learn anything.

    Aha, “citation ring” – I hadn’t seen that label before. Very useful.

    Maybe if the Sussex Uni punished her in some way for her clearly terrible leadership on the issue? Not holding any hope on that as I suspect there is a high degree of institutional capture.
