You know you did wrong, he said
Elon Musk on Tuesday tore into the massive tax-and-spending-cut bill backed by President Donald Trump, calling it a “disgusting abomination” that will explode federal budget deficits.
“I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore,” Musk wrote in a post on his social media site X.
Is he though? Is he sorry?
“This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination,” added the Tesla and SpaceX CEO.
“Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.”
I can think of some things Musk did wrong – like taking an axe to USAID for instance.
The White House quickly shrugged off the criticism from Musk, a vocal Trump supporter who spent over $250 million backing Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.
“Look, the president already knows where Elon Musk stood on this bill,” press secretary Karoline Leavitt said when asked about the post. “It doesn’t change the President’s opinion. This is one big, beautiful bill, and he’s sticking to it,” she said.
Yep. Just keep repeating “one big, beautiful bill” and reality will fall into line.
Except he’s sticking it to us.
Not to mention the cuts to FEMA and other agencies, the restructuring of the HHS to override the autonomy of the CDC, the cuts in staff with no warning, reason or evaluation beforehand, among others! Musk comes in and blindly slashes without rhyme or reason, to save a fraction of what he promised, then complains about spending? It would be laughable except for the people’s lives who were and are still being affected by this moronic stooge. I hope he blows a gasket. USAID partially funded Musk’s companies, and then eliminated on his say so? A government agency that gets eliminated on a single private citizen’s* whim? Does that kind of hypocrisy come from sheer stupidity, or is it more sinister than that? All signs point to how much of a degenerate power-mad creep he is. And stupid. So so stupid. The outright gall of him failing to deliver as promised, quitting, and then complaining? Doesn’t he get enough government subsidies already? Let’s cut his (taxpayer funded) vanity Mars project. That would save more than all the cuts he made combined! The man is foul beyond words.
*There is also the question of the legitimacy of how he became a citizen. Let’s have an investigation and deport him. Soon, before the Special K does him in.

Yeah, we know your priorities, Elon. Profit and fleecing American taxpayers. Selling luxury electric cars has always been Tesla’s big lie. Marketed as planet savers, Teslas are not what they say they are, they’re merely overhyped status symbols. They are also unreliable, ugly, and represent the worst of American culture. US taxpayers shouldn’t be required to fund this asshole’s agenda. There have been significant (to the tune of $billions) of other subsidies awarded to Tesla. Boo hoo, Elon. Go cry in your Special K.
How can just one African-American with 12 or more children from 4 or more women get so much power? And how can a nation as large and powerful as the USA have no systems in place to stop an immigrant from destroying the fabric of the country?
I’d make that SouthAfrican-American, because African-American in this country definitely doesn’t mean Musk.
Or actually and more precisely just Boer-American.
I don’t think he’s capable of destroying the fabric of the country, but money does = power. However… Money in the hands of a private citizen* doesn’t buy even close to the power wielded by the Prez, with the whole might of the US government behind him, in which, even Musk’s vast wealth doesn’t compare — which is scary because Trump is even stupider than Musk.
*(Here again the question of his citizenship.)
Those unfortunate souls. Imagine being fathered by such a miserable excuse for a human being — or lacking the self respect to actually copulate with the disgusting bastard. Gross.
It’s kind of unimportant, but I imagine that most black people in this country are less African and more American than the Boer Ketamine queen is.
As an aside… Think he’s had sex with any of these women?
I do not think Musk was slashing ‘without rhyme and reason”. One of the benefits (to him) in slashing USAID, for example, was the fact that inquiries by that agency into, shall we say?, ‘irregularities’ on the part of companies owned by Musk were going on; as were inquiries by other agencies when he and his boys took their chainsaws to them. The inquiries have been neutered so completely that they no longer exist. Both Musk and Trump have been, and are, engaged in an orgy of waste, fraud & corruption that is also a seizure of virtually unlimited power. Both are thoroughly dishonest and despicable people.
I recommend this video in which both Jamie Raskin & the admirable Ruth Ben-Ghiat, who is an expert on authoritarianism, discuss the corruption in which both Trump & Musk are engaged:

As well this video, in which you may see another billionaire originally from South Africa, Peter Thiel, who is equally despicable as Trump and Musk, delivers a load of gobbledygook about Armageddon and the Second Coming to justify the kind of surveillance state that he and his company, Palantir, wish to create with Trump’s blessing. His remarks should disabuse anyone who supposes that billionaires must be highly intelligent and knowlegeable people simply because they have made a lot of money. As should Musk’s remarks on the Ukraine war in an interview with Brett Baier of Fox News, not to mention. his ignorant, trolling tweets on X. But the fan-boys of these Big-Tech billionaires will not, of course, change their minds.

The word “palantir”, now the name of Thiel’s company, comes from Tolkien’s ‘The Lord of the Rongs,. According to Wikipedia, it refers to “one of several indestructible crystal balls from J. R. R. Tolkien’s epic-fantasy novel The Lord of the Rings. The word comes from Quenya palan ‘far’, and tir ‘watch over’. The palantírs were used for communication and to see events in other parts of Arda, or in the past. The palantírs were made by the Elves of Valinor in the First Age, as told in The Silmarillion. By the time of The Lord of the Rings at the end of the Third Age, a few palantírs remained in use. They are used in some climactic scenes by major characters: Sauron, Saruman, Denethor the Steward of Gondor, and two members of the Company of the Ring: Aragorn and Pippin.”
And with Peter Thiel, we appear to have another Sauron in charge of a palantir..
I find odd those people (nearly always, if not always, men) who retain in adulthood a fascination with the book. When I was 14 or 15, a school-friend lent me one of the three volumes a day, and I read one volume a night. I think I re-read the whole thing once, and then that was pretty well that. I think “The Hobbit”, which was intended for children, a far better book – it has a sense of humour, something that is lacking in “The Lord of the Rings”, as well as in Thiel and Musk. It is, no doubt, good reading for the adolescent (mostly male) mind, Neither Thiel nor Musk appear to have stepped much beyond adolescence.
