“Allahu Akbar” is an explicitly religious phrase (it’s called the “Takbir”).
It was an inappropriate thing to say at a political conference contained people of numerous religions
The UK Greens are currently trying to appeal to as many UK voters as possible.
So having someone shout “‘Allahu Akbar!” (or “Christ is Lord!”, “Sita Ram!” et.) at their conference is unseemly and divisive.

Well, yes, but it’s more than that. Islam is more than Judaism and Christianity. My point is about the Islamism more than the theocracy, even though I do object to theocracy.
