Neighborhood news

What a crappy thing to do.

A 40-year-old man is behind bars after causing catastrophic damage to a famed Seattle glass museum located on the grounds of Seattle Center.

On Monday night, just after 11 p.m., the man was arrested for assault and causing over $240,000 worth of damage to the Chihuly Garden and Glass.

Why we can’t have nice things.

It doesn’t help that the detective reporting the incident (or whoever writes the headlines and added the stupid extras) for the government website makes light of the whole thing with his simply hilarious “alternate headlines” at the bottom. ffs

Why does this story sound like a grimly apt metaphor for what Trump is doing to America? The only thing that would make it apter would have been if the vandal had spraypainted his name on everything.

Chihuly just can’t win. Something similar happened to one of his sculptures when it was on display in Canberra. Some people it seems just need to destroy. In that, Trump is, sadly, not alone.

I suppose it’s that glass is so very easy to smash. Damn them.
