The UN has a Facebook group. It’s called United Nations Free & Equal.

UN Free & Equal is a global campaign for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer equality led by the United Nations Human Rights Office.

I wonder what queer equality is.

I wonder a lot of things.

It has such a sweet poster. It’s on TwitX as well as Facebook.

Ah. Well yes, those are stylized images of women, but that doesn’t mean that trans women, aka men, are women. Cartoons of Snoopy don’t mean that dogs can think in English. Badly drawn maps won’t transport you to the purported sites. Corporate Memphis priddy gurlz don’t establish that men are women.

Also note what the UN was apparently too stupid to notice. The women are all very young and very pretty. Does the UN think all women are very young and very pretty? Does it think women all die before they turn 30? Does it think being pretty is the only thing women do? Does it think youth and prettiness define womanhood? Does it think women are pleased and touched and flattered by this kind of thing, so flattered that it will make us agree that huge aggressive angry self-involved men are women if they say they are?

The UN can go take a long walk off a short pier.

    I thought all depictions of women require at least one hijab.

    Except when the women are men. Even these fools know that Islam is not a big fan of transgenderism. (For the wrong reasons of course.)

    Except in Iran, apparently. It’s a major destination for “sex reassignment” surgery, and many of their local gay men and lesbians are pressured into these surgeries; better a “sex change” into a fake heterosexual relationship than a genuine homosexual one. (The article makes too many references to “L.G.B.T.Q.” people where they mean either something like “gay men and lesbians” or “people in same-sex relationships”, but they do clarify elsewhere. ) Iran is unusual in the Islamic world in that way.

    I see the poster flatters the typical trans woman delusion that they all blend in with actual women with no visible difference between them. Such a shame reality is less kind.

    Yeah, and if they did, all this wouldn’t be necessary. If we couldn’t tell the difference, they wouldn’t have to legislate and sue to be seen as women. They could go where they wanted, abuse all the women they wanted, and their crime stats would be listed as women without them getting obnoxious about it. They would be accepted as women (even without actually being women).

    A lot of transmen actually do pass, after a long enough dose of testosterone. People probably don’t stop them to check their genitalia at the bathroom door, and don’t even look twice at them. I imagine the TiMs are insanely jealous – just another reason to hate women.
