Maybe. I don’t know that someone planning to cast one legal ballot would find anything intimidating about that tweet.

I think it might more be virtue signaling to the right, as well as an attempt to rile them up to vote to counter all these alleged cheaters.

Oh come on now. Middle class white people wouldn’t find that tweet intimidating, probably, but what about people who are neither? What about new citizens? People in Georgia or Kansas or Wisconsin or any of the other states where voter suppression laws have been passed? What about activists and loudmouths?

Remember: Trump doesn’t stick to what’s ethical or even legal. Plenty of people could find it all too likely that he would break laws to suppress votes.

Skeletor, sure. Because there’s no history in the U.S. of minorities being falsely accused of illegal activity when it’s convenient to those in power. Only criminals need to fear being assaulted or shot by police, right? And certainly there’s no evidence of the GOP pretending to find “voter fraud” where it doesn’t exist.

Also remember that woman who voted because she didn’t know that convicted felons were barred from voting in her state, and received some grotesquely enormous prison sentence. Ten years was it?
