So it’s “taking sides” to congratulate Kathleen Stock on an honour, but it’s not taking sides to congratulate Sophie Grace Chappell on finishing a book and promote the book and a talk Sophie Grace gives on the book. The tweet congratulating Kathleen Stock must be taken down, but the tweets promoting Sophie Grace Chappell’s book and talk and congratulating her for finishing the book must remain.

Why?

    A euraka moment?

A euraka moment = an epiphenomenon of hypocracy that causes spelling errors.

That OU tweet is hilarious. I’m infinitely more intelligent than everybody else so I’d better offer explanations of the clever words I use. That way, the reader can marvel at my extensive vocabulary and appreciate my kindness in defining such obscure words as epiphanies in a way they at least have a chance of understanding. Such a pity that both words used for the definition do nothing but show the tweeter’s ignorance, but never mind.

I will never say ‘wow!’ again. Whenever I’m highly impressed by something I will henceforth exclaim ‘epiphany!’

Well I’m gonna exclaim “Euraka moment!”

Why exclaim when you could ejaculate?

My exclamations haven’t weakened with age, latsot.
