Since my witness appearance for @Mermaids_Gender this week, I’ve been deluged by an avalanche of abuse from LGB Alliance supporting pseudonyms, bigots, bots & cranks.
How much of the “abuse” was just criticism, I wonder? How much of it was well-deserved mockery and ridicule? He should ask JKR about abuse. I’m sure he’s received very little in comparison. In fact, without reciepts, I wouldn’t believe he’s been subjected to any at all, certainly not on his “sinister” say so. Go ahead, show us the “avalanche of abuse.”

Confession: when I first watched this video I didn’t know it was Owen Jones. I assumed it was some random internet warrior who’d been picked out of obscurity to illustrate a GC point and fully expected the usual pushback involving claims that this guy is an unrepresentative extremist. No way is he any kind of respected mainstream spokesman, was how I anticipated the Genderists objection.
Our friend Eneraldo mentioned to me that, not being an Anglophone, he had a hard time understanding much of what OJ said. I said I found it pretty difficult myself despite being an Anglophone, because of the offensively sloppy rushed gabbled way OJ talks. It may seem a small point but I think it’s rather typical of OJ’s arrogance and rudeness.
