Once again, this is how we know that every “trans ally” is in fact perfectly aware that transwomen are men. If they really believed they were women, they would be calling them Karens, accusing them of weaponizing their trauma, and telling them to STFU.
They’re the kind of women who are better than women.
I like Fry in that clip. And he could just as well be speaking to trans-identified activists. They use their trauma–real and alleged–as emotional blackmail; as an excuse to demand that they be “validated” and others silenced. That’s “weaponization.”
And I agree that trigger warnings are infantalizing.
He could’ve been more sensitive about trauma and what it does to people, but after all he was speaking off the cuff.
I like him in that clip too; what I don’t like is his joining the witchfinders now.
