A motorcyclist is just another type of cyclist. It’s right there in the word. I think we’ve all been told something like that.
I really think a lot of people have just never really thought about sex differences. What they do know is that sexism is inequality between the sexes [nb: that’s not what sexism is], so when the gender cultists come along and say that male and female are just, like, social constructs, man, it seems to jibe with what they already know. After all, we should all be equal, and it’s just the social construction of sex that is the problem. (nb: this is all stupid)
(nb: I am perfectly capable of understanding and appreciating opposing arguments and sentiments. My judgement that particular reasoning is stupid is unrelated to a judgement on whether a particular person is stupid.)
(nb: Sometimes it’s really hard to remember that, though.)
