Only the third tweet of this enormous thread, and already we see the all too familiar problem: she thinks it’s “trans-hostile” to know that people can’t change sex and that trans ideology obliterates women’s rights. She confuses rejection of trans ideology with hatred of her “niece.”

“the intense focus on fertility” … I’m sure this imbecile genuinely believes that worrying about children sterlizing themselves due to a delusion is the exact same thing as demanding that white families pump out as many offspring as possible.
When anyone points out that only one side of this debate is actually sterilizing children – so if there’s any genocide going on here, it’s the “TERFs” who are trying to stop it – “the intense focus on fertility” is the TRA way to insinuate there’s something creepy about that.
I’ll grant them the obsession (ok, I think that may be a bit strong) with fertility… That *should* primarily be a right wing concern.
In an overpopulated world why is fertility important? And why are parents dumb enough to select themselves out of having descendants a problem?
BKiSA, I am inclined to agree with you in principle, but…
For a child to opt for a sterilizing technique before they even really understand what fertility is has some very disturbing overtones. For a child to have his/her genitals surgically altered before he/she is old enough to vote, to smoke, to drink, or to go to war…a lot of things we don’t allow them to do, in several cases to avoid harm to themselves (smoking and drinking, for instance)
What if the cigarette companies had protested the laws limiting smoking to legal adults by saying that children not allowed to smoke would kill themselves? The sane world would have laughed them out of the room. Only a fringe of delusional and easily swayed people would have given them any credibility at all.
But when it is genital mutilation in pursuit of an impossible fantasy, suddenly children are old enough to know what’s good for them, and adults are just mean if they say no.
Looks like she’s done gone and hidden herself. The pushback was brutal, she went from hero to zero in a flutter of tweets.
All her nephew needed was competent mental health care.
Many pointed out on Twitter that the child’s father is remaining in the UK, so is this another family destroyed by the cult?
The Dr’s expertise is in early literature, not medicine, with a PhD on early modern epitaphs in manuscripts. Riveting, I’m sure.
