My laptop dropped dead late last night so I dashed out and got a new one this morning and it’s clearly going to be WEEKS before I get used to all its novelties. Just so you know. Posts will probably be sparse for a bit. But I haven’t vanished off the planet yet.

Ugh god it’s TORTURING me.
But actually the timing was good, the one that I liked the look of turned out to be a leftover “Black Friday” one so it was dirt cheap.
I was mildly perturbed that I didn’t wake up to a cascade of posts. Don’t know what I’ll do when you do hang up your keyboard, my favourite radio interviewer just retired. I could go into opinion withdrawal.
Just train a custom Llama x.0 LLM on OB’s entire posting history then feed it headlines and social media posts, electric Butterflies are eternal…
I sympathize; I am still coming to grips with a new laptop that has weird quirks. Fortunately, I use my desktop for most things.
