But…why doesn’t NHS Fife want to make it public?
NHS Fife ordered to publish trans guidance
If it has trans guidance why not publish it? Why does guidance have to be secret?
The Information Commissioner in Scotland, David Hamilton, has told NHS Fife to make its 2024 Trans Policy available to the public under the Freedom of Information Act. NHS Fife has thus far refused to release the document, citing a number of exemptions, all of which have been rejected by the Commissioner.
Why? Why resist, why refuse? If it has a good policy, why not publish it? Presumably they think it is a good policy, so why are they swathing it in secrecy?
Could it be because they know it’s incompatible with some rights of women?
