Euan Weddell outraged that things reserved for women are reserved for women.

Members are advised that eligibility for seats reserved for women is determined by what sex you are: it has to be the female one. Duh.

Also, while we’re on the subject, when it’s a union for journalists basic literacy is a plus. Not saying “there bulletin” when you mean “their bulletin” would be a good, if horrifyingly basic, step.

    Using ‘there’ for ‘their’ is becoming horrifyingly common. It was one of the most frequent mistakes I marked in student papers. Doesn’t anyone learn about synonyms anymore?

    You need that to use the ‘argumentum ad homonym’ ;)
