Nostalgia moment

This became famous among the infidels because of BillO’s absurd “the tide comes in, the tide goes out, you can’t explain that,” but it’s interesting from the first few seconds because of the way he won’t let Dave utter even one complete sentence even though Dave’s the invited guest and he’s answering BillO’s question. This is why I’ve always loathed O’Reilly: the bullying.

Yes, I’ve seen that phenomenon often. I was watching Annie Laurie Gaylor on Fox News, and they had her pitted against something like four religious people, none of who would let her finish a sentence before denouncing her as “rude” or something else. One thing Annie Laurie cannot be called with any honesty is rude.

And then they accused her of not answering a question when they had not allowed her to finish her answer.

As long as you let the atheists come on your show, you can point to that as being “open-minded” and “tolerant”. Letting them actually speak is another thing entirely.

The look on Mr. Silverman’s face when O’Reilly utters the “tide goes in” line is priceless. A real “look at the camera like your on The Office” moment.

“Atheist group puts up billboard that say they don’t believe in religion – shocking film at 11!” I mean, talk about delicate special snowflakes….

Ah yes the tantrum. I watched that the other day.

I’ve known too many men who do that. I dislike it intensely.
