‘Radicalised’ means different things when said by a TRA. There I was, thinking it mean people who had been manipulated / propagandised at to embrace violence rather than mere talk, turns out it simply means verbally expressing their political views. Along with ‘hate speech’: simply mentioning that gender critical feminism exists apparently qualifies! Oh and astroturfing, which used to well funded populism disguised as grass-roots, community level organising… now it means speaking one’s views on a forum, and then organising to meet irl, in a grass-roots, community oriented fashion.
Waitaminnit… astroturfing and grass-roots have swapped meanings, but only when it is women espousing the gender critical position. In fact the same exceptions seem to have been carved out for the other words, too: radicalised and hate speech only mean these new meanings when it is women talking about women as females.
And what I wanted to say but didn’t cos distractions: this leaves women as the only demographic not even permitted to define itself nor its own advocacy.
Oh, I dunno. Depends which way you look at it. This wanker Broderick is a hot contender for Probationary Cadet Publicist of Wankerdom. Until a bigger wanker comes along, he has my vote.
