Holms – he isn’t Nixon on steroids. He is only the bad parts of Nixon on steroids. Nixon (in his first term) promoted environmental regulations, and signed most of the major environmental legislation. He proposed national health insurance. In short, Nixon was a competent politician, albeit a corrupt one, with some very good things in his legacy (and lots of bad ones). Trump is incompetent at everything he touches, and succeeds only in breaking things.
