Liar
The Attorney General outlined a "zero-tolerance" policy last month and other members of the administration have described family separations as a "deterrent." Period. https://t.co/tbQlbmkquq

Sorry, @SecNielsen, that was probably confusing. I don’t mean to be unfair. Let me try to put it in terms you’ll understand:
Liar. Period. https://t.co/wJ5bOUFlSZ

Trump cancer of lying about what we all know has spread to @SecNielsen. Shame! https://t.co/KhSgzOw10W

We are increasing the pressure to stop family separation and the Trump administration is feeling it. That's why they're deflecting and lying about what they are actually doing.
We can't afford to think about not winning this fight, because the lives of children are at stake. pic.twitter.com/282FZRwA1Z

I just exited a border patrol “processing facility” known as the “icebox.” It is nothing short of a prison.

Reupping this thread in light of @SecNielsen attempted defense. Yes, she's deliberately obfuscating the policy, but she's also pushing the insidious view that the morality here hinges on whether or not a parent violated misdemeanor immigration laws. It doesn't. https://t.co/COxsaX5Ilw

To all the apologists saying, “Well, it’s unfortunate, but don’t exaggerate” — STFU. How would you exaggerate this? Add lava? https://t.co/HysjBIkehA

Barron Trump is what, 11 or so? And Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ children, how old? When their parents obstruct justice or work with/for hostile powers, perhaps we could exercise zero-tolerance and remove their children to unknown locations under unknown conditions for indefinite durations for the sake of deterrence.
No, no we can’t. Because that would be unconscionable. As much as they may consider us “not even human”, it’s not something we take seriously. We can, however, enjoy a clear moral high ground. And take selfies from up here.
They boast about their ‘toughness’ out of one side of their mouths. And then whine: ‘look what you made me do’ like a classic wife-beater.
