Doesn’t make sense. Isn’t the hit man the one that carries out the attack (e.g. Sparafucile in Rigoletto), not the one that orders the attack (e.g. Donnie Dipshit, in America)?
Yes but it does still make sense. He probably meant “the guy who puts out the hit” but the point is pretty clear. They were doing what Trump told them to do.

I think people are also forgetting that the reason that they invaded was to stop the official electoral vote tally, thinking that it would keep Trump in power. There was purpose in the “hit,” other than looking like a bunch of damn fools trying to kill congresspeople and anyone getting in their way.
