It has to be said, though, that given what Trump might have done while in office (not that I’m saying that what he has done isn’t bad) the USA and indeed the world has dodged a bullet considering what a focused, intelligent Trump could have achieved.

I haven’t laughed as hard as I did in a long time when the commenter on CNN said this as AF1 started rolling down the runway:

Perhaps we should coin a new term for a group of “grievances and grudges”: a Trump.
“That guy is a little messed-up. He’s got a Trump of grievances and grudges against his ex-wife.”
Given Biden’s history, I fear our “breathing” may be short lived. He will be quick, no eager, to “reach out to the other side”, to “:unite the country”, which always means giving in on key policy issues. Heck, is Social Security and Medicare even safe? Obama certainly floated ideas to kill them. I bet Uncle Joe knows some health care insurance nabobs who would be happy to take over the programs…for a fee.
