Southampton Antifascists warns of an impending outrage:
Portsmouth Guildhall will be hosting an event for the Transphobic group Filia on the 16th – 17th October.
Filia have openly called for conversion therapy for those in the Trans community and openly act as gate keepers of womanhood.
Can you imagine?? Women are actually having the brass neck to act as gate keepers of womanhood. Who the hell do they think they are?
Filia are a hate group masquerading as a feminist charity and should not be able to hold events unchallenged.
In fact they shouldn’t be able to hold events at all, or go outside without supervision, or have jobs, or vote, or go to school.
I wonder if Filia have actually called for conversion therapy, or if they merely suggested hey maybe not rushing into physical changes as soon as a minor claims to need it.
How some group that attaches BLM to the trans cult as a singular worthy cause, while falsely labelling a feminist group as a “transphobic group” and “hate group” can be taken seriously is beyond ridiculous.
It is almost certain that, by “…have openly called for conversion therapy…”, the complainants mean that the organisation has suggested *against* permanent medical and psychological interventions.
We live in the upside-down.
Wearing the Rainbow Badge needs to be a condition for women to have license to drive, too. And no trains nor buses!
Nobody could be a “gatekeeper of womanhood” if they wanted to. Human bodies are either female or they are not. If a person’s body isn’t female, there’s nothing anyone can do to include the person in the category “female,” even if anyone wanted to. If a person’s body is female, there’s nothing anyone can do to exclude her from the category of female. “Gatekeeping” is not possible. There’s no volitional aspect of classification as female or not. If a person is a woman, no one can “keep” her out. If a person is not a woman, no one can “open a gate” to let him in.
Yes but Filia “act as” gatekeepers so that’s totally different. Totally.
Are they incapable of considering that ‘affirmative care’ is undistinguishable from conversion therapy. Or from ‘repressed memory’ therapy.
