I can’t agree with “confidently”. He/she/they stumbles through the script and looks like a frightened rabbit; one that if challenged would run off as fast as their legs could carry zher/zhim. I doubt he would shine among genuinely confident people of either sex, or that they would relish his company.
Hmm. That’s not how I see him. It’s not a polished performance, true, but it’s not meant to be – it’s “authentic” instead. I think he comes across as quietly confident about his own wit and insight. If he weren’t he probably wouldn’t have made the “performance” public.
I wonder if he would be able to say “confidently,” in his own words what exactly Rowling has said that is so evil? Could he quote anything she has actually said that he personally considers to be “transphobic,” explaining why it is? My guess is no.
not Bruce, it’s not important what she said, only that she said it. Some woman, some uppity female person, said something not on the approved list of somethings that women are allowed to say. She must pay.
And importantly, other women must be terrified out of the idea of copying her and doing, speaking and even thinking like she did.
I see the phrase “fuck off, JK” identifies as comedy gold now.
