He’s only being conciliatory now to save his skin, because his attempted coup fizzled out. It was weird watching this just now with the sound off–he literally looks like a marionette being jerked around by an incompetent puppeteer. His neck extends and contracts, his shoulders weave back and forth, he’s suddenly jerked bolt upright and then slumps again.

I don’t actually know what physically makes a person move like that. Some of it is just squirming, like he’s itchy or needs to pee, but the neck thing and the jerking upright thing I have no idea.
The snapping the head to one side and then the other, repeat repeat repeat, drives me absolutely CRAZY. It makes watching him even more painful. WHY DOES HE DO THAT?

I noticed in this clip the head-tilts are much reduced, and the handwaving is virtually nonexistent.
The tilts are very small – just an inch or so in either direction – but I don’t think they’re less frequent, are they? Mind you I can’t prove it either way and oh god the agony of trying.
