There’s no such thing as “trans misogyny” any more than there’s such a thing as “trans racism.”
It’s not “the truth” that “trans and non-binary people have been here forever.” It may be, and probably is, the truth that people who have felt discomfort with their own sex and/or curiosity about being the other sex have been here forever, but “trans” has been expanded and expanded and expanded to mean far more than that, and the far more is mostly batshit crazy. There’s no reason to assume that that particular brand of crazy – so shaped by Twitter and other modern forms of media – has always existed.
It’s not “the fact” that JK Rowling is using her platform to spread violence against trans people all the time. It’s not even close to a fact, aka true, in fact it looks kind of libelous to me. Saying that men are not women is not “spreading violence” against those men. It’s not true that JKR is transphobic or that she “continues to create hate” or has created hate in the first place. (Meanwhile Mr Van Ness should take a harder look to the way some trans activists talk about and to women.)
It’s not true that trans women are women.
Truth matters. It matters what’s true and what isn’t.
He’s a blue-checked genderqueer nonbinary so he speaks with authority based on his lived-experience.
But, then, he spelled “folx” wrong, so how genuinely genderqueer nonbinary can he/him be?
This is what I mean. JKR is not transphobic, does not use transphobic rhetoric, does not hold transphobic views anywhere, does not use her platform to spread any kind of violence toward anyone, and does not create hate. These are all completely fabricated lies that are perpetuated by people like this who so obviously haven’t bothered to investigate anything she has said, written, or tweeted.
Here’s the irony, (wtf/ever) Wokebeard says “…we don’t have to use violent language to prove that.” Try using any kind of language to prove that, because you haven’t proven anything. Talking shit is not proof.
That’s nice, then PROVE IT. The claim Rowling’s views are “transphobic” has been screamed, yelled, printed. tweeted. broadcast and placarded, but never once proven.FFS, PUT UP OR SHUT UP.
I will add that violent language is not necessary, and that I agree with (wtf/ever) in that regard, but who is spreading lies and misinformation without a single shred of proof on their sizeable “platform?” It’s certainly not JKR. Use any kind of language you want to prove me wrong, Wokebeard. Telling lies politely is still telling lies.

Here’s another big problem, the trans cult does not represent all trans people, and probably not even a majority of them, and for guys like this (wtf/ever) Wokebeard to perpetuate lies about a perfectly respectable person, it makes the whole trans community look bad. People tend to generalize, that’s the way we are, so who’s promoting “transphobia” now, genius? They just don’t get it…

Since people who supported the Gender Identity version of being transgender are apparently the ones who either came up with or successfully promoted a definition of “transphobia” which included “fails to accept the Gender Identity version of being transgender” in among the housing discrimination, bullying, and violence, then JK Rowling might indeed be a transphobe. Our job, then, is to come up with our own definitions of phobias.
Acrophobia: fear of heights and belief in Gender Identity.
Arachnophobia: fear of spiders and belief in Gender Identity.
Claustrophobia: fear of confined spaces and belief in Gender Identity.
I bet we can come up with more.

It really does. It matters more than anything because learning the truth will tell us how best to treat children with questions, concerns and dread about their sex. It will tell us how best to accommodate gender-nonconforming children and adults in a world where sex matters.
And it matters because it fucking matters.
But the truth is being treated as a casualty of war because it doesn’t point the way people wanted it to. How has truth become subservient to fantasy? How has desire overcome reason? Where has everyone left their minds? Perhaps they find them again if we ask them where they used them last…
I wondered the same. I think the point may be: “Look, this is a perfectly valid woman.”
He’s not trans though, as I understand it. Maybe he suffers from trans-envy.

I gather from Jonathan’s Twitter information that he considers himself “non-binary”. He uses “They/He/She” (who knows when any of them is deemed acceptable) and he uses the hashtag “nonbinaryjoy”. I think the definition of the nonsense word “transmisogyny” is expanded to include, at the very least, failure to recognize the non-binary-ness of a non-binary person as desired.
And all this stuff is under the “trans umbrella”, so it’s all trans, somehow, don’t try to cloud the situation with “facts and logic” piffle.
My mistake! He looks quite binary but of course that’s just my unsophisticated literalism talking, any decent person would know he’s (they’s) enby at a glance.
I’d say he looks very monary, that is well into one half of the binary.
I agree that he’s harbouring some trans envy, wishing to partake in some of that sweet, sweet oppression (without having to change behaviour, wardrobe, or body even one little bit)* so he can unleash his/her/their righteous fury at women like JKR. Not that anything is stopping him/her/them in any case.
*He is ENTITLED to stunning bravery, and all the honours and benefits pertaining thereto.

They/she/he seems to be following the dress-regulations for woman laid down by the European Hardball Federation: an ‘itsy bitsy, teenie weenie blue and reddish-striped bikini’.
