It’s certainly “incredible” in terms of “impossible to believe”. It’s hard to believe that his imposture and dishonesty would get this far, with so much aggressive support from sporting bodies and media outlets. It is unbelievable just how many institutions and individuals have joined in foisting this liar and cheat on the rest of us, particularly the women he’s been allowed to cheat against. Truly astounding.

“…know full well how much training is required…” — by the women who had to compete against a man in a futile effort and being deprived of what they worked so hard for because of a cheater. Thomas is clearly not a hero, he’s a villian, and those who don’t recognize that are oblivious or really stupid. Thomas has surmounted no obstacles and achieved nothing. He’s a scrub.

Yes, the main issue is how much training was NOT required for this most recent improvement. I can respect all the hours & effort that went into allowing Thomas to peak at #462, but how much extra effort was required to get to #1? Usually a drug-related improvement of that magnitude (probably unprecedented, and certainly in-credible) would cause perhaps a little outrage, followed by a lifetime ban.

“Huge effort” indeed, eh? He went from #462 to #1 just by saying “I’m a girl now!”. Doesn’t seem so hard to do. Hell, if was able to double my salary by proclaiming that I was a bob-tailed ginger house cat, you can bet your ass that I’d be meowing up and down the streets of my neighborhood in the blink of an eye.
