It is ‘LGBT History Month”, so let’s throw in some tenuous references to “LGBT+ rights” in everything we discuss.
He could have done similarly for Black History Month, but I suspect didn’t.
I see that LGBT History Month is marked in different months in different places, so one could make these tenuous references much of the year and just target different locales.
Isn’t it still black history month for another few days?
Yes. These things overlap, there are too many of them. Black History Month is February; LGBT History Month is February or May or October, depending where. (October in the US, February in the UK.)
