The Welsh government is to redefine women to include transgender females under planned new laws.
The proposal was revealed on Sunday in a leaked draft of its Gender Quotas Bill which proposes that half the candidates in any list to be members of the Senedd must be women.

That is so so so fucking insulting. “Ok ok ok we’ll pass a bill saying half the candidates must be women. But we’ll also say men can be women so ha you lose anyway. Sorrynotsorry bitches.”
Wouldn’t that be transgender males? Transgender females are females who insist they are males, or “transmen,” while transgender males are “transwomen,” right? So stupid.
No, trans is just short for transgender – they mean the same thing. A transgender woman is a man.
The confusion is in regard to “female” versus “woman”. Many of us refer to a “trans-identified male” or “TiM” and mean a man who claims to be a woman, so the confusion is understandable. Many news outlets these days (irritatingly) use “trans female” and “trans woman” to mean the same thing, and don’t actually have a word that refers to someone by sex.
They’ve been pushing the “transgender [fe]male” phrasing for a while now. Anything to decrease clarity and increase confusion. Confusion is their favorite tool aside from emotional manipulation.
Kudos to that leaker. Stealth is their favourite tool. Apart from confusion. And emotional manipulation. (I may need to come in again.)
It’s as if journalists are required to follow some kind of unwritten Trans Cult Style Guide — one that adheres to the doctrine.
Let me guess, they have no plans to redefine men to include transgender men.
