Glass houses

But trans ideology has nothing to do with hatred of women, oh no no no no, not at all, and especially not internalized hatred of women, you know, the kind where you’re a woman yourself but you take great pleasure in calling other women ugly.

The guy on the left is a guy. The woman on the right is Grace Campbell, daughter of Alastair Campbell, once spokesman for Tony Blair and New Labour. If you want to watch him babbling incoherently about why women should let men take away all our rights, here he is again:

Like father like daughter. Rapid incoherent repetitive babbling as opposed to reasoned argument, in an effort to incite contempt and hatred for women defending women’s rights. He can talk fast but he can’t say anything worth listening to, and his daughter is the same.

When I studied philosophy in university, we were told to avoid “Ad hominem / ad feminam” arguments in debating.

Grace Campbell is the UK politics equivalent of Maude Apatow – if her father wasn’t such a bigwig, she wouldn’t have gotten anywhere.

And even ad homs can manage to do their thing without resorting to “Hahaha they so ugly.”

I probably shouldn’t be commenting on other people’s appearances (especially since I don’t look like Ryan Gosling myself).

But Grace Campbell and Charlie Craggs (the trans person there) aren’t exactly the most attractive and best-dressed people I’ve seen.

Also, in an earlier part of that video Charlie Craggs said that the women supporting the FWS judgment had ugly hair on their heads, and added “What do you think it’s stained down there, girlie?”

So he made a very crude comment about the public hair of a group of feminists. But somehow the gender-critical activists are the ones “obsessed with people’s genitals.”

LOL that’s the first time I’ve seen that typo go in the opposite direction….

And Grace’s brother Rory is on bail on suspicion of fraud by false representation relating to a betting syndicate. The Campbells really are an all-round lovely family.

Not to be catty, but a Five O’Clock shadow on a Ladee doesn’t exactly send me searching for my best pickup lines.

Okay, yes, that was catty. Probably sexist, too. Is the word “catty” sexist? And I do realize that as a liberal man, Ms. Miller wouldn’t find me attractive.

    What a mess.
